Lecturers are professional educators and scientists with the main task of transforming, developing, and disseminating science, technology, and art through education, research, and community service (Article 1, Law on Higher Education 12/2012). Permanent lecturers are full-time lecturers who have the status of permanent educators in certain higher education units and are given NIDN. The Functional Position of Lecturer, hereinafter referred to as the Academic Position of Lecturer, is a position that shows the duties, responsibilities, authority and rights of a Lecturer in a higher education unit, which in its implementation is based on certain expertise and is independent. The Academic Position of Lecturer consists of Expert Assistant, Lecturer, Head Lecturer, and Professor.
One of the performance indicators of lecturers is the achievement of the level of functional position, therefore the active participation of the Faculty to motivate lecturers to reach the level of functional position that should be. For this reason, the Faculty of Economics and Business held a Functional Position Management Workshop organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business in collaboration with the UNIKOM Functional Position and Advanced Study Section (Mr. Yudha Nugraha, S.Kom) on September 21, 2023.
